About Xera
Why I started Xera.
So much consumer technology has been optimized for engagement and short term pleasure. It feels strange to live with such advanced tools while so many people feel worse, move less, and spend more time pulled away from their bodies.
Xera is my starting point for building a different kind of technology. Strength training is one of the highest leverage habits for health and longevity, but it is still hard to learn, easy to overcomplicate, and tedious to track. I kept coming back to one idea: the best strength training experience should be accessible to everyone, starting with a free version that is genuinely good.
Long term, I want Xera to grow into a longevity platform that helps people understand how they are doing for their age and how to keep getting stronger over time. Future premium features may add deeper strength and longevity insights, but the core promise is staying simple: help more people train well.
I am from Texas, recently moved from Austin to San Antonio, and spend as much time as I can being active: lifting, skateboarding, and playing sand volleyball. Go Spurs.
